Harry Pouder was on his way to the Starbird Show in the early mourning when his power brakes failed near the Myriad Convention Center. He refilled his master cylinder with brake fluid after being taken to NAPA for fluid.

He nursed his '55 wagon into the Myriad and was guided to a parking location.
The brake failure was caused by a frayed left front brake hose. He called Arrow Towing Service to transport his car to his home after the show. He did win a real glass and clock within glass trophy for his efforts.
