Friday May 18
5-9 Preregistration and welcome party in Bricktown, across the street from Rocky's Music Hall in the Parking and Retail Center.
Free snack food will be served buffet style. Cash bar for soft drinks. Pre-registration packets will be handed out.
Photos of the vehicles, for the wall plaques for each participant will be taken. Each Cruisin OKC 2001 participant will receive an entry m which must be stamped at each of the five locations to qualify for the cash prizes.
Saturday, May 19
7-noon, registration in Bricktown at the Parking & retail center, across from Rocky's. Photo's taken of the participants car.
8 am to 4 pm, enjoy the day at all the locations:
Bricktown: the canal and river walk, ballpark and the restaurants.
Stockyards: Street bands, dancers, sidewalk sales, stores and restaurants.
Information Center: 1-35 and 122nd, poker run about 45 minutes Edmond-Lake arcadia area
Remington Park: Creeper races slow drags, water balloon toss, DJ, concessions
Lowe's: (across from Quail Springs Mall) Hydraulic performances, surno wrestling, moon walk, pie eating contest, DJ, favorite foods
Crossroads Mall: DJ, O'Reilly's race car simulator, Oklahoma City Clown Association, University of Oklahoma Engineering Dept., Formula
race car, OU Meteorlogical Society
Mobile weather station and chase car, NOAA weather partners giving information and programming help for weather radios.
2:00 pm all locations: judging for that locations "Best Of's" and that locations special trophies
(the 4 best of's are engine, engineered, paint and interior)
Sunday, May 20
10:00 am to noon. Crossroads Mall, center court, Awards, plaque distribution, cash prize give away Goodbyes until next year.
Saturday evening (not a part of the cruise) is the Coit's Cruise In by the City Heat Cruizers at 39th and N. Penn.
