The best-laid plans are in place and the show committee is finishing the final details.
Cruisin’ OKC 2002 is just around the corner and it’s almost time for fun.

The show kicks off Friday night, May 17, with a cruise-in and welcome party in Oklahoma City’s historic Stockyards City. The Friday night event will include bands and a street dance in the area.

Munchies and soft drinks will be available as show attendees pick up their registration packets or pre-register for the show. Keith Marang will be taking car portraits at the Stockyards City venue which is hosted by the CC Riders and the Corvette Club. They promise a good time with lots of fun and excitement.

Not to be outdone, the Matrix Car Club and Late Great Chevy Club are planning an entertaining experience in Capitol Hill with low-rider demonstration (hydraulics), food vendors and other activities.

We will be hosting our venue in the southwest corner of the Crossroads Mall parking lot. A highlight this year will be a “garage sale” put on by members. Please bring items you no longer need to this event (no clothes though). Please price your items. Give particular emphasis to car-related items if you can part with them.

We will play Chevy Bingo as the method to award door prizes. A Snap-On tool truck will be there so bring your checkbook. Set up for our venue begins at 6:30 a.m. Saturday. Several people have volunteered to be there at that time but we always need more bodies to do the work. Parking plans are made and ready to be implemented and the
day promises to be a success.

Trophy presentation will be inside Crossroads Mall on Sunday, April 19.
Please make plans to attend all three days of this show.
